If requested, our Bulk Bag containers can be made to any of the following certifications or packaging requirements.

Certifications:
NEL, 49 CFR, British Standard 1898, CONEG, SARA legislation, ISO TClll, and UN Packaging Group I, II, & III.

Sift and/or Moisture Resistant:
  • Option 1. Filler cord in side seams, top and bottom settings.
  • Option 2. Sift resistant; filler cord in side seams, top and bottom setting seams, and top spout and setting seams.
  • Option 3. Sift resistant container - Filler cord in side seams, bottom setting seams, and top spout and setting seams.
RAT (Reinforcement Around the Top)
Webbing sewn around the top perimeter of the bag for added strength.

Clean Seal Cutting:
Clean seal cutting produces a smooth, clean, clear edge after cutting. Choose from the following categories to meet your packaging requirements.
  • Option 1 - All fabric is cut using clean seal cutting, which melts and seals the fabric edges to prevent raveling and contamination.
  • Option 2 - All fabric is cut using clean seal cutting. Then the fill and discharge spouts are wrapped around the holes of the container's top and bottom panels.
  • Option 3 - All fabric is cut using clean seal cutting. All thread ends are burned, and the fill and discharge spouts are wrapped around the holes of the container's top and bottom panels.
Clean level/Food Packaging:
Employees wear appropriate garments and use disinfectant soap at washing stations. Manufacturing area is washed down with a chlorine solution, including all surfaces that will contact the bags, and the finished containers are folded into a lined baler bag and set on a new pallet for shipping.
All clean bags have precautions taken during the manufacturing process to reduce any contaminates: no containers touch the floor; all pieces are covered when not in use, and a regular cleaning program is in place.
